Bonstell Racing
May 2nd
The team came to the track with high hopes after resovling last weeks problems. The car was extremely consistent and responded well to adjustments. After the first practice the car was fastest of 22 other cars. The team also did great in qualifing, posting the 6th fastest time. This was great because the inversion had us starting 5th for the long 75 lap race. When the race started the car was solid and on lap 5 contact with the #18 and the front wall ended the teams race and further points running hopes due to the amount of chassis damage the car sustained. We will be working hard to obtain funding but will not be able to proceed with any further races until this occurs. Please contact us to see if marketing with Bonstell Racing can improve your business. Thank you all for your support.

The first race of the 2009 season is now in the books. In the first practice session the team encountered some equipment problems on the car which made it extremely loose. The #11 was 7th quick in the first practice. After resovling the issues and making changes the team was 3rd quick in the second session. With a couple of changes the car was extremely loose in qualifing posting a time for the 11th spot. Several changes were then made for our very first race in 2009 which was our heat race. The car was very good on the short run and Won the heat race! The feature race provided a ton of side by side action and no where to go. For the first half of the race the car was very good and made it up to the eight spot . In the closing laps the car loosened up with help from another car. The team was still able to bring home the first top ten of the year. We will be working hard in the shop to improve the car and we are extremely excited that the 2009 season is now under way. If you would like to contact us for any reason please email us at the address above. We look forward to seeing you at the next event!
